Two of the biggest nonprofit organizations dedicated to fighting one of the deadliest forms of childhood cancer have joined forces.
The Brain Tumor Foundation for Children is now the Georgia Chapter of the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, the world's largest nonprofit funder of childhood brain tumor research. Together the two have more than 60 years of experience in funding lifesaving research and life-changing family support programs to eliminate the challenges of childhood brain tumors.
"The BTFC's goal is 'helping kids with brain tumors today,'" said Pam Ellis, chair of the BTFC board of directors. "By becoming part of the national Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, we will be helping these kids today and tomorrow." Read more.
