While chilly November temperatures typically accompany BTFC's annual William's Walk & Run, the earlier September 12th date this year offered a beautifully mild morning.  The date of this year's event also had special meaning as we recognized National Childhood Cancer Awareness Day while honoring the lives of the many children who have been affected by brain tumor disease. 

Because of the generoity of our sponsors, fundraising teams and registrants, just more than $55,000 was raised to support programs and services offered by the Brain Tumor Foundation for Children (i.e. emergency financial assistance, social/emotional support activities, provision of informational resources, research funding, etc.). 

From the Volunteers to participants, thanks to all who came out to the make the event a success.  The date for next year's event will be announced soon.  We will certainly hope to see you there!
